Attorney Kraft is a life-long resident of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, class of 1972 (B.A.), and a 1975 graduate of Suffolk Law School in Boston (J.D.).

Attorney Kraft was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December 1975. He was then appointed an Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County. For the next three years, he prosecuted major felony cases in Suffolk County. In 1979, he established his law office in Brookline, and then became a founding partner in the Law Offices of Houlihan, Kraft and Cardinal. Attorney Kraft maintained his office in Brookline for the next forty-one years, at the same location in Coolidge Corner. In 2020, he decided to open a new office as a solo practitioner in his current location in Medfield.

Attorney Kraft has developed an expertise in a wide range of legal matters, specializing in Probate and Family Court litigation. During the past five decades, he has represented clients in matrimonial cases, probate of estates and probate and trust litigation.  Attorney Kraft has developed a reputation as being a skillful trial attorney, as well as  a compassionate and dedicated advocate for his clients. 

In his fifty years of practice Attorney Kraft has represented clients in District and Superior Court criminal bench trials and more than one hundred jury trials. He also provides estate planning services for his clients, and has handled in excess of five hundred real estate closings.
